Overview
The Everest Three Passes Trek is a comprehensive and challenging high-altitude journey through the Everest region, designed for experienced trekkers seeking a more adventurous alternative to the standard Everest Base Camp route.
This trek is renowned for its thrilling combination of the region’s most iconic highlights and a complete circuit through its three main valleys. The route takes you across three formidable mountain passes—Kongma La (5,535m), Cho La (5,420m), and Renjo La (5,360m)—each offering a unique and breathtaking panorama of the world’s highest peaks, including Everest, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, and Makalu.
Beyond the passes, the itinerary includes a visit to the famous Everest Base Camp, a sunrise ascent of Kala Patthar for the most spectacular view of Everest, and an exploration of the pristine, turquoise Gokyo Lakes. By venturing off the main trail, this trek offers a quieter, more immersive experience of Sherpa culture and the rugged, diverse landscapes of the Khumbu region.
