Hiking Friends Travel Nepal was founded by a close-knit team of Nepalese trekking professionals who have spent more than two decades leading travelers through the world’s greatest mountain landscapes. After working for many of Nepal’s best-known agencies, our founders decided to start a company that does things differently — one that puts trekkers, guides, porters, and local communities at the center of every journey.

Our founders grew up in the mountain districts of Nepal — Solukhumbu, Pokhara, Gorkha, and the hills around Kathmandu Valley — and started their careers as porters and assistant guides on the classic trekking routes.
