Mera Peak (6,476m) is Nepal's highest trekking peak and one of the most rewarding climbing adventures in the Himalayas. Located in the remote Hinku Valley south of Everest, Mera Peak offers a challenging yet achievable ascent for trekkers seeking their first Himalayan summit.

Frequently Asked Questions

Mera Peak is considered a challenging trekking peak. It requires good physical fitness, endurance, and the ability to walk for several days at high altitude. Technical climbing skills are minimal, making it an excellent first Himalayan peak.
Previous climbing experience is helpful but not mandatory. Basic mountaineering training is provided before the summit attempt.
Yes. The trek reaches above 6,000m, so altitude sickness is a serious consideration. Our itinerary includes acclimatization days to maximize safety and summit success

No. Technical climbing equipment can be rented in Khare if you do not own it.
Temperatures near the summit can drop below -20°C, especially before sunrise on summit day.
